On April 11, 1969 the Seattle Pilots, and Tommy Davis, played their first game. The Pilots shut out the White Sox 7- 0 at Sicks Stadium. The Pilots went 64 - 98 and finished last in the AL West. They only played one season. The next season they moved east to Milwaukee and played as the Brewers. Baseball would return to Seattle in 1977 when the Mariners began play in the American League West.
